Grady's new thing is carrying things in his mouth without using his hands. The other day I caught him playing in the laundry with a pair of Breydon's underwear sticking out of his mouth. Got to love this kid.

Had a fabulous Easter spending time with family. Breydon loved hunting for Easter eggs. He is still talking about the Easter Bunny. We also taught him about the Resurrection and true meaning of Easter, but for some reason the Easter bunny stuck a little better.

Mommy and Grady. For those of you who don't know our little monkey has been having lots of health issues. We are having him tested for Cystic Fibrosis. Keep us in your prayers.

These two love each other so much. My favorite thing in the worlds is watching them play together.

This is Breydon's Temple. Right before Aaron left we took a trip to the visitor center. Breydon loved it. So a couple days After Aaron left we were playing legos and Breydon brings this to me and says, "look mommy I made a temple." So proud.

For those of you who do not already know, Aaron joined the Army and is currently in basic training. After finishing basic he will be training for 6 months in his specialized field in southern Arizona. Before he left we made sure to get some family photos. Hope you enjoy them.

We finally got to go to gymnastics as a family. Aaron hung out with Breydon while I took pictures with Grady.

And here are the boys. Breydon loves his little brother. But he also loves to make him cry. These are some of the happy moments that I prefer to remember.

Grady Emerson Ehle's Debut

Born at 6.62lbs and 20 1/2 inches here is a picture of our newest edition to the Ehle family. We are already madly in love with him. Breydon can not keep his hands off the little guy. He just wants to smother in him with kisses and touch all of his baby soft skin. They are totally going to be best friends.

So I know Grady is like 1 week and Breydon is like 3 months in this photo, but Breydon was this chubby from day one.

Here are some pictures of christmas in Colorado. The first one is of Breydon opening his presents. The second two are of Breydon helping decorate the Christmas tree. He thought that the ornaments were balls and kept throwing them. Needless to say we had to get the vacuum out to clean up one of them after it shattered.

These two pictures were an attempt to take some family photos Breydon decided he did not need to cooperate.

For Breydon's first birthday we decided to start our annual Ehle Family Photos. These are some of the pictures that were taken of Breydon. He is such a cute little boy.

Super Boy

So Breydon has now decided that crawling is too easy and has moved on to walking everywhere. He was also learned how to open the safety gate in my parents living room. He likes to roam the house and find paper and whatever else he can put in his mouth. He is now also climbing.

A couple of weeks ago my mom brought home a box that Breydon was playing with. After he looked in it and around and over it and through it he decided to try and get on top of it. So he started off by getting both knees up. That was not good enough, he decided, and continued to stand on top of it. Since the box was empty it immediately caved in. My heart sank as I knew he was going to fall hard. However, contrary to my assumption he remained standing in the center of the box with it flaps now crushed inward.

The Walking Monkey

Okay so I am totally a slacker and have not posted in who knows how long. Needless to say I never posted anything about Breydon learning to crawl and now he is walking. Yes, our little 8 1/2 month old monkey is walking. Last night after dinner with my family, he decided he was big enough to walk all the way across the living room floor completely by himself. Of course I was not too far behind. We even got to video tape it. I will have to upload the video another time as our computer is broken and I am using my parents Mac, which I do not know how to use.

As many of you know Suzuki, my parents cat is usually a sassy little kitty who does not want anyone touching her. Recently my parents had 5 animals staying at their house and Suzuki was on high alert. She hissed at everyone and everything. However, once things calmed down and it was just her and my parents dog Rielly she has had a mighty change of heart. Here is the evidence.

Grandma and Grandpa Dull have really enjoyed having grandchildren around. Sometimes they don't know how to share their attentions and get themselves into some pretty sticky situations. It is not always easy trying to get two children to sit in your lap. Especially when one of them wont sit still.

We are currently living with my parents out in Avondale while we are waiting on our town house to close. My sister and her family are here too and we have had lots of fun playing together. Toby (my nephew) has enjoyed throwing things at Breydon's head. Fortunately there has been no permanent damage as of yet. Despite the many injuries Breydon has incurred, he still loves Toby and watches everything he does with jolly laughter. They are like two peas in a pod

Breydon recently started sitting up all by himself, no support. He loves it. In fact laying on the floor with toys no longer pacifies him. He has to be sitting up. This unfortunately makes it quite difficult for me to get anything done while he is awake.

Adventure in South Dakota

After stopping off in Colorado Springs, we finally made it to the Dull reunion to see Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Dull. Grandpa even shed a few tears when he saws. He had not expected us to be there and was joyed at the surprise. Grandma enjoyed holding her newest great grand baby.

At the begining of July, Breydon and I took a trip without Dad to the Dull Family reunion. On our way up we stop in Colorado Springs for the night. Breydon got to visit with Grandma Ehle, Aunt Amy and Uncle Adam for the first time. Grandpa Ehle was there too. We enjoyed our short little visit and are hoping for a longer visit here really soon.

Family Reunion

Two weeks ago we went to my husbands family reunion. It was lot of fun to get out of the heat and enjoy the out doors for a few days. It was also nice to actually see Aaron. He has been working 60 hours a week all summer and Breydon an I really enjoy every minute we can get with him.

It has finally happened

On April 17th, 2008 the pride and joy of our lives was born. Breydon Lee Ehle is now 7 weeks old. It is amazing how fast it all happens. He has started smiling and cooing. He has also started following me around our apartment with his eyes. He is already in size 2 diapers, but when he was born at 8.4 lbs and continues to gain over 1/2 lb a week I guess I really should not be surprised. We are really enjoying watching him grow and develop. We are excited to see what new life adventures he will bring us.
